Kelly F. Grant is the founder and CEO of Acer Sage Consulting. She has achieved a Masters of Health Service Administration (MHSA), Registered Nurse (RN), Scaled Agile Framework Agilist (SA) and Project Management Professional (PMP). Boasting over 30 years across the healthcare sector, Kelly offers an unparalleled range of experience in management, clinical, oversight, implementation, analyst and consultant roles. Her unique depth of expertise across the VHA, DoD and commercial enterprise empowers Acer Sage Consulting to provide a holistic approach to program management and beyond.

Kelly founded Acer Sage Consulting with the mission of utilizing her extensive background across all levels of healthcare information, from project and program management to clinical and developmental perspectives. She is devoted to sharing her expertise in project & program management, interface & interoperability and organizational change management.

Kelly’s journey in healthcare began in 1983 when she began her career as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), garnering clinical experience in critical and intensive care for almost a decade. Believing electronic health records to be the future, in 1991 she directed her efforts to healthcare information systems. She broadened her experience in the field for the next twenty years across development, implementation, analysis and deployment with SAIC, The Compucare Company, Loudoun Healthcare Systems, and Agelix Technologies. Kelly then excelled as program manager until 2018 with Systems Made Simple, where she managed the VA’s Mobile Applications Program support team and VistA Laboratory Engineering Project. As program manager, she oversaw a two year multitask order totaling over $6 million in revenue, and many complex information technology projects through all phases of the product life cycle.

Today, Kelly resides on a lake in North Carolina with her husband David and two dogs, Roscoe and Rex, who keep her company while Acer Sage Consulting serves as a subcontractor to Booz Allen Hamilton in support of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
